1 Description It occurs as white or yellowish-white, deliquescent, crystalline powder.
2 Identification
Test (A)
(A) It gives reaction of aluminum and chloride.
3 Solubility It is very soluble in water; freely soluble in alcohol; soluble in glycerin.
4 Limit of Sulfate No turbidity is produced within 1 min.
5 Iron Not more than 10 ppm.
6 Limit of Alkalies and Alkaline earths Not more than 0.5%.
7 Water Determination Between 42.0%–48.0%.
8 Assay Not less than 95.0% and not more than 102.0% on the anhydrous basis.

PACKAGING

MOLCHLOR® AA is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside and is provided with a barcoded label and a tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in tight containers.
