MOLCHLOR® THYM is an organic compound. It is commonly known as Chlorothymol, with the molecular formula C₁₀H₁₃ClO. It occurs as a white to pale yellow crystalline solid with a characteristic aromatic odor. It is primarily used in the pharmaceutical and personal-care industries as an antiseptic and antimicrobial agent to help inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms.

2 Solubility It is soluble and clear solution in ethanol.
3 Melting Point Between 58°C to 60°C.
4 Moisture content by KF Not more than 0.20%.
5 Purity by GC Not more than 99%.
6 Thymol Not more than 0.50%.
7 Total impurities Not more than 1.0%.

PACKAGING                                                                                                        

MOLCHLOR® THYM is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside and is provided with a barcoded label and a tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserve in well closed containers in cool and dry storage area.
