1 Description A white or yellowish white or greyish white powder or granules.

(A) The solution becomes clear.
(B) A yellowish white, flocculent precipitate is produced.
(C) A pink colour is produced immediately which becomes violet within 100 minutes.
(D) A thin film is produced.
3 Solubility It is practically insoluble in hot water; in acetone, in ethanol, in ether and in toluene. It dissolves in cold water forming a colloidal solution.
4 Appearance of solution The solution is not more opalescent than opalescence standard OS3 and is not more intensely coloured than reference solution YS6.
5 Chlorides Not more than 0.5%.
6 PH Between 5.0 to 8.5.
7 Loss on drying Not more than 5.0%.
8 Sulphated Ash Not more than 1.0%.
9 Assay Not less than 27.5% and not more than 31.5% of methoxy groups -OCH3 calculated on the dried basis.

MOLCHLOR® HCL is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum Packing with double PE Liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserved in tight containers.
