1 Appearance It occurs as a white to off white powder.
2 Identification
Test (A): Chlorides.

Test (B): Cerium.
(A) A curdy white precipitate should form, which settles in the test indicating the presence of chloride ions.
(B) A curdy white precipitate should form, indicating the presence of cerium (III) ions.
3 Solubility It is soluble in water and in ethanol.
4 Water Not more than 2.0%.
5 Assay (Argentometric titration) Not less than 95.0% on an anhydrous basis.

PACKAGING

MOLCHLOR® Ce is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside and is provided with a barcoded label and a tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in a tightly closed container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
